Start with no backpack?

It's because not everybody uses great topic titles, or these ideas get added to certain threads that deal with inventory or difficulty. I am 100% sure that this exact suggestion was part of my 'start us off with nothing please' thread ... ;) ... so instead of looking for 'backpack' looking for 'start' may yield more results.

Starting with no bag at all is fine, if the smallest backpack in the game spawns a lot in the starter towns.

Another possibility is just starting with the smallest backpack and removing it from the item spawn tables.

+1 I like the idea of not having a backpack and as other have said, we give a reason for the Czech Vest Pouch to exist.

I think we should spawn without backpack, but with some stuff : bandage and painkiller at least, and maybe one extra-object that would be chosen randomly (low-value object like soda, food, flashlight...)

I think they should all be low value items that you get at random.. no telling what your gonna have in your pocket when the world ends..

On that note we should all start with cell phones in our pockets..
