DaveAzoicer (DayZ) 135 Posted July 21, 2012 Basicly just be careful, loot the nearest big town: http://dayzdb.com/map#3.057.108Loot hospital/medical tents, residental/pubs for bags, and supermarket ASAP, then head into the woods when you got a knife, matches, hatchet, water bottle, map (kompass), some kind of a gun, and stay away from others unless you know them. Gather a bigger backpack, a primary gun, and a pistol, hatchet - knife - matches - water bottle. head north into the woods. hit up every deer stand you see.. and play the game like u want after that. tatortodd22 12 Posted July 21, 2012 Whenever I start a new life, I run north, straight past all those PVP big cities. I don't care for dealing with them and super large aggroes. Just get your bearings on a map online, and run north looking for deer stands and barns to get some food, drink, and a weapon. After that, you are free to try lower risk loot spots like supermarkets and hospitals that are NOT in cherno/elektro. That's my strategy anyway. 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
