Does the Average Life Expectancy board remind anyone else of the military's days sense last alcohol related incident boards, or is it just me?

The drastic decrease in the average life expectancy really speaks to the increase in new players trying out the mod. Hopefully if enough read the beginners guide and ask for help in game we can get this back up to the 5hr range it was at in the past.

I think it's bugged.

Should say 03:28 or 04:28, but someone sleep deprived forgot to add a the second hour decimal, so now it says 0:28. ;)

I thought it was because the way it was being calculated has been changed from alive players to all players dead or alive.

It could quite likely be correct at 0:28

If you take into account that amount of new players that have flooded the servers lately and are running in blind and getting wiped out, then it will skew the figure.

Plus all the new players are just more fodder for the bandits

Also add the factor of players "respawning", in order to get a "better" location to charge to their previous dead corpse.

Two minutes isnt really that long. Many times people dont see the text at the bottom right when they spawn/ use arma free so it takes at least two minutes to find the name sign for the town they spawned on the outskirts of.

28 Minutes seem accurate.. if you run out of makrov ammo early in the game..
