Why AN/PVS-4 does not have day-mode implemented?

In real-life that NVS had ability to be used during a day.

And if you used the dayfilter on that particular scope, your field of view would be seriously narrowed down. I believe thats why its been disabled, because it has not been possible for BIS to program that..

How is it not possilbe to use a reticle bitmap, that blocks required parts of a scope? A regular cross in a centre and some specifically shaped blinds on three sides?

Why is there even a PVS-4 in this game? The starlight got phased out years ago. It should be a PVS-14.

Probably not phased out in the illequipped Takistani forces.
