Becoming a bandit

Listen I've been playing this mod for 3 days now, I'd consider myself proficient. Coming here I promised myself that I'd be nice to everyone and help those few that don't shoot on sight. Unfortunately I think that simply doesn't work. I do quite enjoy helping other survivors, like I helped some guy and his friend who had a broken leg and 1k blood. I helped them out a lot actually, and they gave me makarov mags. What happens next? Well the 2 guys were fine, it's just that I get sniped in the back of the head by some silenced weapon, and the other two were taken out as well.

So basically I'm friggin done being nice. I've tried and at times succeeded, but for fucks sake I'm sick or being shot after a "friendly" over the mic. You bandits are some mean people, but it seems like the only way to survive right?!

Mainly I didn't just shoot players on sight because I feel bad for the ones that are friendly like me. I hated when people shot me on sight, so why would I do it to them? Well, I suppose those friendlies and noobs need to learn the hard way to shoot on sight and never to trust anyone, unfortunately. Sorry my fellow friendlies and noobs, but my lesson is quickly learned, class is dismissed!

Any tips for new bandits?

If you're a bandit, I recommend running in a group. Having a long range weapon, learning how to be stealthy. you need a good head set to hear foot steps. try practicing your aim some. Learn how to spot and be aware of surroundings.

If you wanna be a bandit fast go to farms near the shore and get a sniper from there then camp over the main town. They never see it coming and with 800m range why would they

My best advice to begin being a bandit...

Scoped weapons. Self sufficient. Never enter a town. Learn a downed heli route. Never keep only 1 base. Frequent sniping supermarkets.

And finally, Never go anywhere you haven't checked out from two angles first.

badnit tip: kill everyone that doesnt respond on mic saying theyre friendly in a serious manner.

i used to be friendly until i got sick of getting killed by half the players, now i shoot most people on sight, i help people out almost not at all now since it usually ends up in being stabbed in the back by would be bandits who feign friendly.

oh and get used to the crying people do when they know you kill on sight. its pretty easy to ignore.

Actually being more of a "guardian angel" sort of help is better.

But if anyone gets closer than 100m, shoot first, and ask questions later.
