D4saken1 80 Posted July 21, 2012 DAYZ MERCENARY DEN------------------------Hello everyone I made a post a bit ago about Mercenary for Hire.I figured I might as well set up a place to start taking applications for people who would like to do Mercenary work.---------------------------Possible Questions:Q: Do I have to commit like a clan/group?A: No you can join and keep all your prior affiliations.Q: Can I commit to this like a group?A: If you would like to be involved in being a team leader or a enforcer/full time member you can be send me a pm on the forum and we will talk.Q: Can I do things 100% my way?A: No, there are break downs for skills you accell at. You can do whatever you want not on a job but when working the client is boss. I will have the rules/exceptions posted on the forum later. They cannot make you kill yourself.Q: What's the point?A: Clients will request a number of people or a single person to do a contract. A fee of items will be settled upon in a deal be it guns, blood, ammo etc. Rewards, Good Reputation, & Something fun and new are the main points. If you are not interested that is fine.Q: What do I get?A: As said before loot. If you become a good enough merc you will gain access to the stash.Q: What is in it for you?..A: I plan to take a small fee from the reward be it a single blood-pack. These items will be compiled and used later on for missions and perks for people who really commit or join and prove their worth. I plan to trade items like that for things people will need for jobs: ammo, explosives, guns, etc.Q: What stops people from screwing us/you over? Or me from screwing you/clients over?A: Well this will not be officially running until I have enough people. Betrayers and swindlers be it client or merc will be black listed and people will be openly warned. If your offense is bad enough expect a nice little bounty or a visit from the enforcers and other fail-safes during the mission itself.Q: What kind of "jobs" will there be?A: A lot, Anything really. Hits (Assassinations etc), Troop hires for wars, Escorts, Driving, Medical Runs (but with real firepower), Demolition, Courier Services, etc.Q: Are you a bandit?A: No I have only ever been a thief but I can fight myself. Bandits & Survivors are allowed to join/work but as said before your time be whomever. Our time you work & behave accordingly.------------------------------Go ahead and list any more questions you may have and I will answer them to the best of my ability. D4saken1 80 Posted July 21, 2012 You should be able to go to the application thread take that and fill it out and put it in the thread category you feel you fit under: sniper, assault, demolitions. Whats to stop someone from making up a new profile name and screwing you over unless you get there guid,i dont see anyway to know for sure who your dealing with. and if you get screwed over how would you even track someone they could join any server they want and you might never get any revenge. D4saken1 80 Posted July 21, 2012 Oh yes copy it and take it to the appropriate section you want to be in.And yes but the actual details will be handled by me. The server names and where will not be open to any non-ops. All applicants will have to do trial runs with me or any other officers I may appoint before they can be approved. If people really want to go through that much trouble then so be it. The black list lets people know who cannot be trusted and if possible retribution would be dealt if severe enough. There is no way to make it 100% safe so its a risk people are going to have to be willing to take. My statement will also be this is at your own risk. If you die on a mission and its not something clearly fishy then you just died.If people are too scared of losing gear possibly during a mission or somehow backstab then I wouldn't come here. I personally like my gear but I am not attached to it. I don't dc even when I had NVGS and got killed hah.It's more about the ride and having something fun to do than getting fat lootz. It will be hard for me to hash this out into a form but we will see what I can do.I got to go for now but I will be back on by tomorrow at the latest and update the site with info asap. I would only do assasinations/manhunting or other tasks were i dont get in direct contact with people who could betray me.And i refuse to get paid with items, indeed, i refuse to meet anyone ever/to give away my position - i dont even wanna know your position. Just give me a task and ill give my best to do it. I only want some nice and challenging tasks leading to a good reputation.Sure i might fail, but then you havent lost anything.If a team is needed for a special task i might be able to bring 2 more guys i trust with me.I would be able to do the job on EU servers only.
