How I create a Server for Dayz?

Hello,

how I create a Dayz/Arma Server? I have a 100mbit Internet Bandwidth at home and want create a server.

I have a Server here at home, too.

So you have a 1gb uplink and downlink on a home connection? I very much doubt this :|

I have 150mb downlink and only 15mb bw. lol.

Yes I have this at home. This is not expensive in germany, but only in few big cities available.

100Mbit =/= 1 Gbps.

Do you even know the meaning of 100Mbit? it's not Megabyte, it's MegaBIT.

100 / 8, that's roughly your download speed, MAXIUM download speed.

And your upload speed is something totally different (as they're usually slower than the download).

And also.. Do you have a Quad Core CPU with a Windows 2003 / 2008 Server OS on it with 6+ GB of RAM?

Home servers are not allowed in DayZ, don't even bother.

I think since his PC says it's connected to his switch/router at 100mbit, he thinks it's true!

Indeed.

Not to mention that the 2TB monthly bandwidth usage would cause nearly every ISP to cut him off.

I don't download 2TB in 6 months anymore, let alone 1.
