Identifying a bandit

I just thought of this while I read the "Growing A Beard" topic, I thought of a way that the more a bandit kills people he can start to get scars, wrinkles, his hair will start to go grey, his clothes can get dirty, his clothes start to get ripped, when he's breathing he could have heavy breathing stuff like that to point a bandit out, because it would still be hard to see wrinkles and cuts etc on their face. When they start to get alot of kills 9+ maybe? Then their clothes start appearing to be ripped or dirty.

What do you guys think?

We think you haven't read ( or chose to ignore) the thousands of threads in which people keep saying not to single out and nerf any one particular playstlye!

I realise this has been posted many times before and I have read alot of them, but I have never seen someone come up with this idea people normally come up with rediculous ideas for it, I was trying to think of a more realistic ordeal

pssht im a shoot on sight bandit. i dont care if you have nothing and you spawned 4 seconds ago. if i see you your ass is grass. i personally would LOVE for my player to grow a beard have blood on my hands and clothes after looting a player i killed and having raggy clothes. raggy? no i dont think just differents. bandits have style brah. but id love to be singled out :D

sorry i need something distinguishable in Arma. At 300m i cant tell the color of the skin and thats it. How about some blood all over the skin representing his murders. More murder more blood on uniform.

I'm just like you, I shoot on sight, thats why I was saying about having cuts at first so people have a chance of knowing if your a bandit if you haven't killed too many people, but as you kill more people you can be made out much easier by survivors, personally I want more of a challenge

Im wary of coming across bandit but, i dont think there should be penalties for murders. I have 1 murder but it was self defence (arnt they all) and id hate to see 9 moments of self defence judge me as a bandit.

Also by skin morphing depending on the play style, i would eventually morph into a chicken. An alive chicken, but still a chicken.

there is no point .... they should of kept the bandit skin anyways as no one trust each other in this game anymore. every fuckers i trusted when i was new the game i was shot down... now i know better. bring back the bandit skin or do something about it. and why is there always one person in every thread have to bitch about repost... so WHAT??? who is going to revive a old thread when you can make a new one and start a new discussion :). bitch on guys

There is already a way to identify a bandit. He's the guy shooting at you.

Hmm thats a true point, I came up with this suggestion because as you know they are thinking of other ways to make bandits more noticeable

I'm not particularly sure they should be more noticeable, I mean, an old lady could offer you shelter and a cup of tea and then blow your head off, I was under the impression that this game was meant to be a more realistic take on this kind of genre. If it is, then there really shouldn't be any way to be sure who plays how. Or maybe, like a kill score above their head or something? But maybe not even that dunno lol...

The bandit survivor dynamic is COMPLETELY broken until disconnecting is fixed. There is absolutely no reason to chance someone disconnecting when you have the chance to kill them. This changes the game into a hardcore FPS, nothing more. Once disconnecting is rendered impossible I would hope to see more people getting robbed and the like.

thats why they need stages of murder appearance. 1-3 kills will just be some scratches up close. 4-10 is deep cuts and blood on your face/ hands. 10-20 your arms are all bloody and you have a few bullet wounds 20+ darkened eyes (murder weighs upon ones mind) and scratches all over. very labored breathing and a heavy heartbeat or something :)

Anyone can kill another...

Look at soldiers...

Sure some get messed up in the head over it...

Some don't...

You may say that they don't as many people as gamers would...

So if u kill infested would u get the marks and the blood too and psychic probs as well?

So either this makes no sense or it would be useless if u made it realistic.

This is just another penalty for murder and therefore should not be, if u want to know why use search function.

Although dirty clothes are cool but see other threads.

im merely tossing out ideas. in combat you get a bit scratched up, ducking covering and diving etc. it gets a bit nuts. and you all keep saying "penalty" jeesh ust implement some form of a tier system. as i said 1-3 kills nothing happen and choose what happens from there. i seriously in no way see that as a punishment. merely a side effect of being a badass. and if a bandits killin foo's hes gonna always have sorta clean clothes from the people he kills. and this isnt about the infected this is abt murders. irl from training , yes any form of stability loss in a society will result in some people loosing their cool, they will get killed or become some wierdo that barracades themselves in a building skinning bodies and hanging them from the ceiling or something. but theres also the mental trigger of kill or be killed with allievieates alot of symptoms of grief and loss and sustains that "numb" feeling. but killing another living breathing survivor is a bit more down to earth as they still have a chance. and yeah theres some people who can just turn that part of themselves off and dont care about killing. but in honesty 99% of any population are going be be turned soft by todays modern standards of living and therfore will cringe and stutter at even basic gore. ever take some city punk to a meat locker and laugh your ass off while you sit back and watch a cow get dissassembled in font of you? its honestly quite fun, i did it to my sister and boy oh boy XD ill never forget teh lulz. but im a country guy gore is normal to me. but as i said many people will be a bit soft. even then this is a game so... lets gather some ideas :D

heres a idea. nothing happens if you dont loot the body. if you loot it your arms are covered in blood past the elbow. but you can go to any water source [well , ocean, lake] and wash it off and look normal again ._.

in any sense i do want some severe form of recognition to mark me as a bandit. blood on my hands. heavy heartbeat. anyhting, i just want something noticeable >:D i want them to know im coming and i want them to know that they are the hunted and they should promptly enjoy their last moments on chernerus in fear of me ._.
