Addons are not allowed?

I downloaded the BB Units addon. It includes some masks and accessories like face mask and headsets etc.

When you get in the server list it shows a red dot next to the servers. I assume that means it is not allowed.

Never heard of that addon, but if its client side only - meaning it only affects your character and nobody else, and only you can see it on your character - assuming it grants no advantage, then why the fuck not

Edit: tried several addon folders and key folders. I'm ok with me not being able to put something in myself, but i want more customization :ph34r:

Yeah it would be cool, but I don't think it's gonna happen in DayZ the mod. In full game, by all means though

No add-ons for client side are allowed through official DayZ servers, the alpha instability will be harder to discuss and track.
