Lost all progress without any reason

When launching DayZ today all my progress is gone. The M249 as well as the M107 and the blood packs ...But when I logged off few days ago, I was still alive?! Why is that? Other recent problem: I spawn very often near the coastline... but this isn't where I logged off? How can I avoid that bug and even more important: How do I get my stuff back?

Any idea?

That's possible... Is there any way to patch to the latest version while still using SixLauncher?

Will I get my stuff back when joining a server running the most recent version?

Never happened to me....

Use the search function and look for Six updater threads if you dont know how to handle that program.

This is gonna happen, you can limit it by updating to the latest beta and only updating/playing the latest DayZ version after having read the feedback on the forums. It will still happen though, so really just accept it as a sucky part of part of an otherwise great experience.

I appreciate that, if you play with a group and get used to kitting up faster, have a few personal tents.. losing your stuff becomes less of an annoyance and the experience can really out way the issues.

I hate to be the one to say this but this game is still in very early stages of progress and the thread of losing your items to bugs/glitches is constant. :(

But nevertheless annoying... Please offer a more universal way of installation for everyone before adding new features. This way you can assure everybody has the same version etc. and probably avoid those bugs.
