Too many 'Dodgy' players around?

Throughout the last week or so i've come across 2 vehicles, placed 1 tent and seen people take multiple shots with one hit kill weapons and just alt+f4 like they were never hit.

As for the vehicles me and my friend came across a URAL truck and managed to kill the driver and take it, after hiding it the server crashed for an hour or so and when i came back on it had vanished. Considering it was hidden in the woods far west from petrovka i find it hard to believe someone happened to stumble across it within the short period i wasn't on. This also happened later with an atv we were fixing up, fixed it up, hid it elsewhere along the northern forests and once again it once gone within the hour.

After leaving the server, i came across another atv that needed fixing up, so i sent up a tent even further north than i did with the URAL placed most of my equipment in and headed south-east for the factory (I saved the tent by the way). After returning with the vehicle parts, both the atv had gone aswell as my tent, no sign of it what so ever.

What i'm trying to say is, is there some sort of way that players can gain access to whatever so that they are aware of where and when a tent is placed or where vehicles are? Are there dodgy admins about? Or do some people have nothing better to do than stroll the very north of the map and server hop when they don't find anything just to do it again?

Don't put any of this 'Stop crying and get on with it' responses because having this happen to you multiple times and being unable to even hold on to equipment and vehicles due to someone coming across an area that has no reason to be checked is just frustrating.

Did you "save" the vehicles :)? If yes then some players must've seen you and followed you :( It's actually pretty easy to find a vehicle as long as you know the general direction it was driving. That or it's a bug, plenty of those around ;)

LOL the amount of tents and vehicles I've looted and stolen is on the rise. Finding them in places that are not common is easily the fastest way to gear up outside of sniper hunting in Cherno/Elektro. So next time you hide something where no-one will find it, just remember that someone will find it ;)

There seems to be a problem where a server reset (caused by a crash or whatever) will cause tents and vehicles to become lost. However the next time the server is reset the vehicles will spawn again. This is listed on on the DayZ wiki under known bugs.

As far as I know, it is impossible for people to take a tent that you have set up, so that leaves two options; they either stole the vehicle and ran over your tent with it, or the server has been reset and now has the vehicle spawn bug.

This has happened to me every time I have found a vehicle, so far I've lost two bicycles, an offroad pickup, two ATVs, and a tractor because the server has been reset as I'm driving, looting in places where people will find them before I can get them back after the server reset, so if you're prepared to wait, your best bet is to go back to where you left your tent, and just log in every now and then to check if it's reappeared back where you left it. If your tent's not there assume it's the bug, if your tent is there but your ATV isn't then assume someone has taken your vehicle.

Pro-tip: If you have a vehicle you intend to keep for yourself, surround it with tank traps before you log out. This'll pretty much half the amount of people that can steal it as it'll be off limits to anyone without a toolbox.

Because if that's who you mean, then I'm pretty sure killing someone to get a vehicle isn't killing them for no reason other than to grief.

come back when the server restarts when ur tent is gone too its just a server restart bug...... when sever is back all is there then ...... just check it u will see :)
