Ok guys I've fixed the issue. Apparently the Steam version of Operation Arrowhead doesn't install BattlEye properly.

What you have to do is copy the folder from ARMAII to your OA and place it there. This resolved the issue and I've been playing for a bit now :)

I am having this problem too. I have tried the above solutions without it resolving the issue.

I will attempt to re-install AO now, will be back with results.

EDIT: That fixed it. It works now!
