Weapons and bag space

Hello,

at the moment we have:

side arm=5 inventory slots in bag

primary arm=10 inv slots in bag

I thought that maybe it would be good to differentiate a bit.

So something like:

MP5=6-7 slots

M4/AKSu=8 slots

M16/AK and such=10 slots

AS50,M107,Machine guns=11 slots

Also you could be able to pick up !empty! bag and it would take 10 slots to make it somehow balanced,so you could not carry many of them.

Just my thoughts for whatever they are worth

Yeah i like this, just make it as soon as you store a bag it delete's all items in the bag you pick up.

Rocket told he hates the current Arma2 inventory system. He is willing to rewrite it from scratch badly. He gave examples of Skyrim visual equipment systems and agreed for Brigade E5\Jagged alliance inventory logics being a good example. So let's hope he has time to rewrite it for the standalone DayZ next year.

This could be implemented very easy and maybe later on Rocket will remake inventory completely as -=PA=-Mikhail has mentioned. Btw here is the picture from Brigade 5 inventory, would take some time to use to it I guess.
