MREs

It would be cool to see MRE's added to the game as a substitute for finding food and water. Have them only spawn in Military areas, deerstands or on mil zeds. When you consume one of these either as a whole or be able to break it down into something smaller, have the effects last alot longer than the current time for food and drink. Maybe have it take up 2-3 slots in the inventory. Also you could add the different contents of them and open up the possibility of trading for something you prefare (just for a bit of fun).

What do you guys think?

Im all in for even more variety of food and drinks like you are suggesting but i do not agree with them lasting longer then other foods. They've been cutting into food and drink duration since the last couple of patches and i find myself going into towns more and risking my neck to get food and drinks again. So system wise the current durations add to the game, putting in foods that have a longer duration will just keep people in safety longer.

Good idea.

For the balance, make them more rare. But have them replenish both hunger and thirst, but take only 1 slot.

I think a military ration should be added, but it should be a mixture of I'd say 20% MREs and 80% Chenarus Rations.

For the Chenarussian rations they could and should use this:

Any variation of the ИРП-П, ИРП-Б и МГРП, or IRP in english would be welcome.

MRE's would be nice. Make them rare and only give health and food. You must have 1 thing of water to use them and when used they give 1500 health and make you go 50% longer than normal before needing to eat again
