Ok so here's the thing. I love pvp in DayZ. Shootouts are often epic and even after your sniped in the cranium, you sit back and say "that was awesome". But the killing of fresh noobs annoys me. Your killing off the community kill by kill. Im not saying punish bandits or any of that BS. Im saying would it be so hard to let these noobs running in circles on the beach live and die by other means, as in NOT your as50? Let them learn what they need to compete with the rest of us. Hell, maybe they want to become bandits themselves. But by their own choice. Not by them getting shot and hacked up within 2 mins so many times they think they must shoot all players. Iv been around since the beginning and have watched the community nose dive. I have no problem at all with how the game is now. Infact id go as far as saying i love it. Give the noobs a break and leave the coast alone. REAL men fight in the north. Bring back honour amongst bandits and bring back meaningful kills.

very much agreed. The first person I saw (ive been around for awhile as well) I saw half way between Elektro and cherno. It was a friendly conversation of me sitting on a rock and calling out friendly. It was not long after I was shot in the face. Now with no weapons on spawn it makes it even harder, actualy after the update that removed the spawn weapons I was killed many times trying to loot a building but not by zombies. It was by another survivor. Now the only (or close to it) friendly encounters are when you both dont have equipment or you have a weapon. One time me and a fresh spawn ran at each other, chest bumped and went our other ways. about a month ago I became an asshole in day z. Im starting to give more leeway and killing less because I know how frustrating it is.

I had a fun experience tonight against a new spawn killer...

After having a nightmare of a time clearing up the battleeye error today, I finally manage to log on. Apparently, there was an issue and when I spawned in I was no longer in the far north of the map where I had logged out last. I had re-spawned near Elektro. As soon as I realize what happened, I gave a quick look around and figured I'd better get off the coast quickly and head inland. So I did and crossed the road off the shore towards the treeline.

Sure enough, some clown must have seen me spawn in and starts shooting at me with a winchester from what must have been 150-200 meters. Obviously, he knew I was probably a new spawn from my location and direction of travel and saw an easy kill. What he didn't know was that a bug had teleported me back to the coast and I still had all my original equipment: AS50 + M16A2 + 1911. After the suprise wore off, I continued running to the treeline and uphill a bit and stopped behind a tree. I switched from my 1911 to my M16 and waited a few seconds. Right on time, he tried to angle up the hill after me and I lit him up. Might have been my most satisfying kill ever since I know what he was thinking when he first saw me. Funnily enough, that was the shortest time after spawning that I've ever been shot at. Normally have zero problems getting off the coast initially.

I wouldn't bother shooting a new player. It's a waste of ammo, and they're fun to watch.

Some days ago I saw some newb with a crowbar running in circles in this dinner/hotel thing in Cherno. Me and my friends were standing at the windows of the house on the other side of the street watching him aggroing zombies for like 10min before we decided to leave :)

I don't know, have people not played enough FPS to know that 30% of players are w@nkers ... noob shouters etc bla bla. Expect the worst behaviour possible.

Yea i agree, went down to balota and saw survivors running while being chase by zeds is kinda entertaining.

We should give them a chance to fight, and rather not take it away from them

I really do not see the point of killing noobs on the game, I killed one a few hours ago because i was bleeding and needed a bandage but I also think it is ridiculous to kill players for fun, I have died for a guy I wen to the place I died and the guy did not get anything from me!I had plenty of stuff in there, even an Alice pack!
