BabylonDK 7 Posted July 19, 2012 (edited) Shitty servers have more desync than others.Hmm not true...The red chain is a status icon for the connection between the gameserver and the hive.As more and more people seems to he addicted by this mod and game, the hive will experiencing greater traffic.If you havent noticed, we've got over 200,000 new and unique players since monday.We now have almost 700.000 people playing this game.. So no wonder the hive is being challenged sometimes.I hope the Devs will upgrade their Hive, and maybe install a US and EU hive, to solve must of the traffic. Sna.ke 43 Posted July 19, 2012 Hmm, I've been noticing desyncs all evening, and I'm trying to work out if it is the hive, my server/configuration, or my server provider/network.What I'm basically seeing is a server at 25% utilization. All of a sudden it will drop to 13-18% utilization, and the game's ping (TCP) will spike to 700+ms/timeout for a few seconds (30-60). ICMP ping will sit at ~50ms (usual, doesn't spike at all).It kind of looks like the game stops processing requests. However, during this happening, I can see "stuff" happening in the server dialogue (chat messages, users DC/connecting, etc).(server is not shitty) Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
