What Ammo Boxes Look Like.

There are a lot of people who are confused on what 'Ammo Boxes' Look like in DayZ. Hopefully this thread will clear up some confusion.

This is what a ammo box looks like in DayZ The small Black Standup Box next to the tank trap. These only spawn near Helicopter Crashes or Military Grade Buildings.

This is what a hacked ammo crate looks like. There is no such thing as 'Weapon Boxes' in DayZ

A weapons crate is exactly how most of the weapons should spawn.

Its either empty... or it has a random weapon in it.. you wont know till you open it.

I wish I could get my Debug Monitor to be above my "Loudness" icon. Mine covers it and I can only assume it's my resolution, 1600x900. I've tried tweaking quite a bit to fix it but nothing has workd.

I agree. I think weapons crates would be a great idea. Not saying it needs to have 15 rifles and 2400 rounds of ammunition; but a rifle or two wouldn't hurt + magazines.

Ammo Boxes come in two types.

STND Regular rounds. = 20

STND SD Rounds - 10

Or

Sniper rounds I don't remember... I think M24

SVD 10

DMR. 20

It could just be a container for the way weapons and ammo spawn now.

Same as the way medical supply boxes work.

One rifle or pistol and ammo.. or just ammo or could be junk.

Im just sick of seeing shit laying on the floor in corners of a room.

Its unrealistic.

Things should spawn in real world situation.

A pile of Gun and ammo crates stacked like in a warehouse.

Guns spawning in gun racks, ammo spawning in ammo crates.

etc
