As many of you admins and possibly players know some servers simply dont have any vehicles. The reason is the devs for dayz have not added it to your mission/instance id. I contacted one of the devs and he posted whats below

"We'll be processing servers one by one once we sort some issues.

Vehicles arent currently being processed until we fix these problems."

So thats it folks. All the people who have a newer server (like me) can't have vehicles till they fix some things. There is no way to fix it atm. Kind of sucks i know.

Im not sure if you have heard all the drama lately but there have been some crappy hosts who have been doing some bad things with vehicles hacking them in and what not. So atm till it can be fixed they are not allowing any new servers to have vehicles. I guess once its fixed they will add them in. Could be a day could be a month personally i don't know exactly how to code for the game so i dont know how easy of a fix it is

Oh right. Dang it! I ran a loop of the map looking for vehicles on my server. Wish I read this first. Would we have to send an email as im currently trying to refrain from that so other peoples emails get seen rather than my poor excuse of one. :L

If vehicles are spawning you should see something like this:

If vehicles are not spawning because the devs haven't added them to your mission instances then you will see tents/wires/etc. spawn but no vehicles.

Yeah that makes sense DJKhaled and thanks for telling me how to check. I was going nuts for the past few days too, seeing as how crashed helis/tents/everything else was spawning.

Yes please, I chose Virgina 16 as my home server and I dont think any of the maybe 23 or 24 servers has vehicles

Could we please get an update on this issue? My server, Virginia 13, does not appear to have any vehicles. Though, some players report having found a helicopter. Not sure how that would work. I can supply my RPT file if need be.

There seems to be another problem with vehicles, even on servers where they are included: they don't respawn when destroyed. That means when a car is lost, it is lost forever. Same for helicopter.

Still gotta confirm this (the map is pretty big), but the number of vehicles is dwindling as they are accidently crashed.

Yhea i run/pay for Eu12 trough the olut crew , it had vehicles in 1.5.6 but after 1.5.7 they stopped respawing .

Still not respawing on 1.5.8.2 so there is hardly any left.

Hope they get it fixed soon , i love vehicles !

Same here, I finally have vehicles on my servers but I notice their numbers slowly dwindling down

We had one chopper that we crashed in the woods, and it respawned in the same spot. When we tried to fly it out it clipped a tree and crashed and never came back

I notice that they aren't respawning because they aren't loading in the server RPT anymore

Devs said this: Usually they vanish if something happens and they were stored as flying.

Makes sense, but I wonder why cars are disappearing too

So i guess we just have to wait and see when the issues with cars are fixed. I really hope its soon, as im running out of objectives. A car or two would be sweet. One for storage in a very secure location and one for fun.

While we wait, does anyone know a website that has a list of servers that have the cars activated (i know new ones dont spawn)? I have spent two days looking for a server (Europe) with vehicles, but no luck. I have seen vehicles twice before, but i had no idea they dont appear on every server and did not take note on what servers they were.

This game is SweeT. Havent played this much since Tomb Raider 2 came out and thats some time ago. Actually, i must have played more of this in two weeks than i did play TR2 in total.
