Can't join any server after 95054 update

Hi all,

I hope you can help me with my problem. I used SixLauncher to start the game, and it updated dayz and downloaded beta patch 95054, I was able to start the game and to join servers - all was fine. But my problem now is - I would like to start arma2 with dayz from steam, but now after 95054update if I will run arma2 from steam, with startup parameters -beta=Expansion\beta;Expansion\beta\Expansion -mod=@DayZ I will not be able to join any server - it will show that I have wrong version of game 1.61 in red color.

Getting the same issue. Im hearing that this is common with the new build. Hope they hotfix it :)

I was about to update to 95054 untill i read this.. seems pretty much every dayz/arma2 update fucks up everyones shit !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D but hey its worth it in the long run when u get the game working of course :D

Just copy the Operation Arrowhead beta shortcut (C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\arma 2 operation arrowhead) too your desktop and use that too launch the game, don't bother with steam.

Thank you, I have access to server after this step, but now I'm getting errors while game start like "dayz_anim.cfg" is missing or something, I can play after I click "ok" on that error, but still not sure if it is all ok with game?

UInless you get kicked by Battleye I would just click ok and play ^^.

hi i just tried installing Dayz manually and when it didn't work i deleted all dayz files then when i tried doing it on six launcher it says my version is up to date but in the game it says it is 1.62 ? what should i do?

It says 1.62 in the corner but trust me it is the latest. btw are u sure u are joining servers with the same patch and hotfix? :)
