MikeTupper 68 Posted July 18, 2012 they're useless. I've litterally never used one. I don't bother carrying those anymore. Do you?
Wonkavator 1 Posted July 18, 2012 I've only used one once. In a firefight, one of my group members went unconcious and I had one on me for some reason so I quickly woke them up.I usually leave them on the ground though.
blinkerty 8 Posted July 18, 2012 how do you know they're useless if you never tried using one? but then again neither have i, i don't team up much so i'm not sure how effective they are.
exciniscineris 32 Posted July 18, 2012 I usually keep an emergency one in my pack but, yah I've rarely ever used it besides maybe one or two times after a firefight.
Justin619 11 Posted July 18, 2012 (edited) i thought the same thing until i had to use one in an emergency. me and a friend were being shot up in elektro and we had already killed like 3 people, and there were MORE. we ran into a church trying to take cover and your friendly neighborhood bandit was just hanging out and starting shooting at us.. i killed him but my friend was bleeding, unconcious, and had like 2-3k blood. meanwhile. there were more people gonna move on us soon so the epi-pen was pretty helpful along with a blood pack so we could get out of there quick. i keep 1 or 2 on me. oh he also had broken bones.. so i basicaly used every medical item on him.. felt pretty good about it. slyder73 94 Posted July 18, 2012 When you need to revive a buddy real fast to either get the hell away or back in the fight you will be wishing for an epi-pen! :D
ripbabyg@hotmail.co.uk 125 Posted July 18, 2012 Pair of Defibs would be more fun than an Epi-pen :P
Newbitect 15 Posted July 18, 2012 As others have mentioned, they are vital if you are running with a group that seeks out hot spots. During a firefight, it can mean the difference between success and failure!
