bnblue@hotmail.com 40 Posted July 18, 2012 Think what would happen if you didn't eat or drink for a few weeks in real life now compress that into a couple of hours of game play and you get the idea.I.E it ain't good, in all the weeks and lives I've played I've never died from either, it's either I find food/drink in time or Zeds/players do! Then it'll start blinking.After it has been blinking for a few moments, your blood will start dropping at 20 blood per second.It'll keep dropping until you die from starvation. DayZPvP.com 143 Posted July 18, 2012 In general, do not eat or drink until they flash. Once they start flashing you have about 30 minutes before you start taking damage. vile. 38 Posted July 18, 2012 Afaik, after the symbols start blinking you have 15 minutes to eat/drink or you will start taking damage very slowly.My friend actually managed to survive ~30 minutes after his health started dropping and still had ~7k hp left when he finally found a can of beans.
