[SOLVED] HOW TO FIX AMAZON VERSION DELETE.CHERNUS ERROR

Hey everybody i think i might have found a way to get dayz working for people who bought the amazon version and are getting the " you can not play/ edit because of bla bla missing delete.chernaus" (please excuse the spelling). I am in the processes of testing and i think it works.

copy and paste all of the files in the arma 2 > addons folder into the @dayz>addons folder then try again, i am currently testing this and have gotten farther ten i have before, i will update this to confirm once i finally connect to a game.

EDIT: IT WORKS I AM IN A GAME HAVE FUN GUYS

This is a workaround, not a fix. Still a very clever workaround and will work people who just want to get DayZ going without fixing the underlying issue

This problem occurs because Combined Operations is not working correctly, all you are doing is putting the data the game cannot find into a folder that Arma 2: OA knows.

The fix is located here, if you want to fix the game rather than patch it up: (Which is important if you plan to play ArmA 2: CO at all
