I disconnected while crawling through zombies, will i still be prone when i log back on or will they all turn around and try and eat me?

you will log back in at your last save point so yeah i think you will be prone surrounded by zeds if they are spawned or if not they might spawn around you when you log in, but sometimes that can take a few minutes so might give you enough time to get out of there, then again maybe not.

If believe when you relog your immidiate area is cleared for zeds and loot.

If you log off and no one else was thrre it will despawn zombies. If someone else is there they will remain.

Thats what I have seen so far.

Logg in a place with zombie's/ loot and its all clear for a while.

You won't be surrounded by zombies but they will spawn a few minutes after. Don't worry you're perfectly safe ;)
