Hi!

I had to re-install steam because of some issues which in turn uninstalled all of my games. Now, I am curious as to how this will affect the DayZ save as I am playing it a lot and wouldnt like for all my stuff to disappear :/

Any help on the matter would be appreciated.

I'm pretty sure you have the same GUID + IP. So, I am rather sure that you'll have your stuff.

this has nothing to do with the ip, but you are right it will not affect any dayz characters

Data is saved on the DayZ servers via your GUID which depends on your CD Key. You can reinstall anywhere you'd like and you'll have your characters, as long as you don't change the CD key.
