How to equip your hatchet as a weapon.

So today (after a week of gamplay) I finally figured out how to equip my hatchet as a weapon.

First: don't have any other weapon equipped.

Second: scavenge and find yourself a trusty hatchet!

Third: right click the hatchet on your toolbelt and click "Remove from toolbelt"

Removing the hatchet from your toolbelt will automatically equip it as your primary weapon (as long as you don't have any other weapon equipped).

Happy axe murdering!

If you have a main weapon (e.g. AS50) drop it on the ground, that it vanishes! Then you can equip your hatchet anyway!

I posted this last night only to log in this morning to see two more threads asking how to do it. Perhaps this information, along with other good newbie information, should be stickied?
