ARMA2_OA_Build_95054

Recommended Posts

I see that a new build is available

ARMA2_OA_Build_95054

Does this solve any issues for DayZ or is it mainly for arma2 ?

I normally run with the latest version but since getting burned with the 94997 problems and having to rollback im not so keen to update.

I've seen a server that required it so I updated and played on that server just fine. Now I'm getting 'waiting for host' on every other server, going to roll back.

Dont get this patch yet. None of the servers are joinable at the moment,

I played with it all night yesterday. Worked just fine, loading times are pretty long though.

If your doing it manually, delete the beta folder from your 'Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead Extensions' folder in the program files. And then run the setup exe. file from the patch you want. Once thats done, you wana copy the new Arma2OA exe file in the new beta folder thats been created (found in the same place as before) and copy that back into the Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead folder replacing the standard exe. file. Make sure you have a backup of the standard exe.

This is for if you download and apply patches manually, as for using six updater, I have no idea....although I think six updater is for DayZ only anyway? Im not sure...I've never used it.

The patch works absolutely fine, the joining time on the server has dropped and fps has increased for most of the guys on my team speak server.

Patch up, and play on the servers that have it, it is not backwards compatible...

Played with this patch yesterday for a few hours and it is much better than the previous one. I didn't get stuck forever on 'Waiting for host' or 'Waiting for character to create' so I would say you can give it a try.

This is how I did it, except there is no need to copy or replace any files if your shortcuts are set up properly. No files should be replaced, by doing it you're ruining your normal Arma2OA.

If you use Six Updater it will update your game to 95054 now.

That was how I was told to do it, but I have a backup of the original Arma exe file I had at the start, so I can always revert back to it if I decide to play the vanilla. Thanks for the tip anyway, shall bear that in mind when I do go to play it.
