Helicopter still in game?

I heard the helicopter is removed from the Day Z is that true?

Couple of friends were playing at SE19, we were gonna scout a apartment bloc in benzino, suddenly a helicopter respawned behind us. It worked. We jumped in and started to take a ride of the lifetime.

It was really fun, tho, there was a guy there at who talked with us in veichle comm, he told us how to fly with it then he jumped out and killed himself. We never saw that guy again.

We looted couple of places, until we bugged/crashed and lost everything.. it was a fun experience and not many players were online at that time.

Is this a hacking thingie or admin abuse? We don't know.

Helicopters were removed due to performance issues.

Definitely a hack or some kind of admin power. Even if helicopters were still in the game, you'd never have a fully functional heli just spawn right by you lol.
