CheeseNigger 8 Posted July 18, 2012 I have been going around specifically hunting players, elite or noob I kill. I will travel the coastal line visiting our wonderful post-apocolyptic cities and murdering every single player; why is it so satifying to kill someone who has a barret and loads of gear to see them only start over.Just last night I believe it was, I was running into electro, saw zombies chasing this guy, I jumped down and made a 650ish meter shot by randomly firing at him....luckiest shot ever.If death was permanent in this game I'd feel terrible for everyone I killed though. I have myself been killed a few times though, my total murders is probably 60 almost. Anyone else a sociopath murderer in this game? Any anti-bandit survivors seek to abolish all us murderers and theives.
govnogaming 52 Posted July 18, 2012 For an army captain you don't do much life saving. Isn't that what war is all about? I just gave a M4A1 CCO SD and 5 Stanag SD mags to a random noob survivor. He thought we were going to kill him, tehe.
Mr. Pink 31 Posted July 18, 2012 Murderers are a part of the game, yes. Are you a douchebag, though? Yeah, probably.
Doctor_sloth 119 Posted July 18, 2012 See now THAT is the real challenge. Bandit hunting, not just killing everyone you see. Finding, tracking, verifying and neutralizing bandits is were the real hunt is. Think of me like Dexter. If we ever meet, I hope you never even hear the shot that takes you out ;)Happy Hunting
GenghisOS 0 Posted July 18, 2012 I try to shot first, that's all I care about. However, unlike you I don't run along he coast, so I wouldn't consider myself a sociopath.Although, t-bagging is always fun

DemonGroover 8836 Posted July 18, 2012 Lets have us a massive Survivors v Bandits deathmatch on a server. 25 Survivors start on the west side of the map, 25 bandits start on the east coast and we meet in the middle in a last man standing contest. And yes i understand the NW airfield is in the good guys corner, but thats what you get for having good karma! :)
adamtheheretic 106 Posted July 18, 2012 I've been trying to avoid killing noobs, but I've seen like 6 noobs try and axe me while I'm carrying an assault rifle. They're probably douchebags who don't care about character death and figure if they die it doesn't matter, whilst if they take you out... Food 309 Posted July 18, 2012 Murdering noobs on coast. Call me what you want, but if you can't get a good enough gun before I snipe you, you can't kill me. ;)
Doctor_sloth 119 Posted July 18, 2012 I've been trying to avoid killing noobs, but I've seen like 6 noobs try and axe me while I'm carrying an assault rifle. You know, oddly enough, that's how my current character (also my longest-surviving char.) started out. I spawned near Elecktro, so I figured "Why not check the firestation on the edge of the city before I make the sprint inland?" I go in, find a hatchet and some other supplies on the bottom floor, then I start making my way to the top. And I'll be damned if there's not a guy sitting in the top room with a DMR, just peeking around the city. How did he not hear me? Your guess is as good as mine. But two hatchet swings later, I have everything from matches to a GPS and a map, along with a shiny new weapon.Moral of the story? Never underestimate an asshole with an axe, treat them like they have an assault rifle pointed at your head. Because like I always say. "A motivated killer will always find a way." nuclearaddict 15 Posted July 18, 2012 I don't know why you guys make such a big deal out of all this stuff. Getting "bummed out" over killing someone in the game. It's embarrassing. Have fun. Kill who you want to kill and do whatever you have fun doing. No need to ask us if it's ok.Besides, It takes about 5-10 minutes (Cherno and then to Balota or vice versa) to get fully geared up after dying. It's really not that big of a deal. DeadManDan 23 Posted July 18, 2012 Ya man don't worry, you're not really letting loose of your psychopathic inhibitions. I mean if you were then all gamers everywhere would be guilty.
