20sec till disconnection

Hi all... If anyone has played World of Warcraft, you will be familiar with their log-off timer.

I think it would be a great idea to incorporate this. Aborting is getting so common these days (to evade death)..

"abort" -> "20 seconds till disconnect" -> (small button underneath) "press to cancel"....

Having the cancel button (box) means that your avi cannot move whilst the 20sec sequence is running. So the only time you can abort is when

you have finished for the day/night and found a nice cosey place to hide.

Or seeing that there is already an hourglass implemented into the game, use that as your timer.

Then we can all have beans for dinner :)

Oh my god.

That is one of the best suggestions I have ever seen for Day Z.

It would stop you from logging off to loose a horde of zombies, not to mention players logging out during a firefight.

It could be abused with alt +f4, but it would be solved this way - even if you disconnect, your character continues to log out for the said amount of seconds.

I really want everybody to see this. You have my beans!
