Chaos5061 48 Posted July 18, 2012 (edited) I just had my comp rebuilt. Note that the CPU has been O.C. to 4.3. I can max everything. Also note that things like the case and Ram I didn't buy I already had them so my price is less. I think I spent around 11-1250 total.New Specs:PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant / BenchmarksCPU: Intel Core i5-2500K 3.3GHz Quad-Core Processor ($169.99 @ Microcenter)CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus 76.8 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler ($19.99 @ Newegg)Motherboard: Asus P8Z68-V PRO ATX LGA1155 Motherboard ($199.99 @ NCIX US)Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory ($46.99 @ Newegg)Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory ($46.99 @ Newegg)Hard Drive: Western Digital Caviar Black 2TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($169.99 @ NCIX US)Hard Drive: OCZ Vertex 4 128GB 2.5" Solid State Disk ($119.99 @ Newegg)Video Card: EVGA GeForce GTX 670 2GB Video Card ($409.99 @ NCIX US)Case: Antec Twelve Hundred V3 ATX Full Tower Case ($142.99 @ Newegg)Power Supply: Antec 1000W ATX12V / EPS12V Power Supply ($150.98 @ NCIX US)Optical Drive: Lite-On iHAS524-06 DVD/CD Writer ($25.98 @ Newegg)Monitor: Asus VE258Q 25.0" Monitor ($242.45 @ B&H)Monitor: Asus VE258Q 25.0" Monitor ($242.45 @ B&H)Monitor: Asus VE258Q 25.0" Monitor ($242.45 @ B&H)Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 (64-bit) ($98.98 @ Outlet PC)Keyboard: SteelSeries Shift Medal of Honor Edition Wired Gaming Keyboard ($113.47 @ Newegg)Mouse: Logitech G600 MMO Gaming Mouse Wired Laser Mouse ($79.99 @ Newegg)Total: $2523.66(Prices include shipping and discounts when available.) CptSpank 19 Posted July 18, 2012 I run this off an old lappy. That said it's a Toshiba Satellite A2002gig Dual Core cpu4 gig ramATI HD2600Settings I get away with good frames on low specsNot bad for a 4 year old laptop, back in the day it cost me just over $2k. Same specs now you could grab for under $800I am in the midst of throwing a quad core system together (just chasing a 1tb HDD), but since the lappy runs Skyrim on medium to low this will do for now.
