Just a few questions about tents,

1. How do you aquire them?

2. When placed are they saved in stats saves and loaded after restarts?

3. Are they destroyed if you die or do they remain for you to return to?

1. Find them like you find anything else.

2. Gets saved & Loads again after restarts (only tested on NY3)

3. You keep the pitched tents when you die.

So, once I pitch a tent (like I do every morning), it will remain there for good or until I pack it up again?

Yes it will remain there no one els can move it.

Excellent, last I heard, server resets can remove them...I must go read the changelogs...
