The_Cake_Is_a_Spy109 9 Posted July 17, 2012 So there is a crossbow in the game why not have a bow but not like a robin hood, real modern bow with a sight and a 200 meter range with zeroing.Also there should be a quiver that can hold like 30 arrows that replaces a pistol or a backpack. Add another 3mm per arrow for the spaces inbetween (plus an extra 3mm for the space between the arrows and the quiver) calculate the volume blah blah blah. Sumdum 29 Posted July 18, 2012 (edited) Looking at a listing of modern carbon arrows it seems like the average weight is around 380 grains, which is just over 24.6 grams with some rounding. So maybe a pound and a half for each carbon arrow. Not sure how realistic that would be lolDerp, physics unit conversion fail. Glad that seemed so dumb I double checked it. They're actually closer to .06 pounds each. Maybe. Multiplied by 200 and you have around 12 pounds. Still seems off but whatever. They could be 5x as heavy and that is at least feasible.
