Maps shows some loot?

Some times when I get a map or when I go on a server, my map will have X's in it telling me spots to check out. For example, if you just double click on your map you have the ability to make an X and write something. On some servers maps I find, or if I check my map it would have these. Once my map had an X with "helicopter crash" on it and i checked it out and there was a crash. Another time was "many much gunzzz" and I checked it out, and got M16a2-M203. Does this happen for anyone else?

Those "X" are global for anyone in the server.

If you have a map, you can view what others marked down for possible loot. Be careful though, it could be a trap ;)

It really depends on the server... you are lucky. Most times when people put markers they are trying to lure people to spots where they can kill you.
