[SOLVED] Deleted DLC chernarus

so i cannot accsess any servers ive reinstalled Arma2 OA twice now and im getting the same error both time...

"you cant play : it is dependent on downloadable content that has been deleted.chernarus"

first pic is when i launch CO then once i get into game i try connecting to a server i get the second pic... *bangs head on keyboard* ive even used the updater to get the right files

im lost at what i need to do now.

You have to launch OA and regular Arma 2 as combined operations.

i launch it as that i have arma2free version on steam is that why?

Amazing' date=' thanks to all for the help. For anyone else in the future it turns out that what you need to do is copy the "Addons" folder from the Arma Free folder into the main folder of OA. Then copy the mod files from the DayZ folder into this addons folder, and voila! Im in :D

Yes ARMA II Free does work with ARMA II: OA' date=' I got it to work pretty much on my own. It took me a while but in the end it is rather easy. Just make sure you install both games in the same dir. Update OA to the newest version, load all the needed dayZ files as explained here.

Then you need to get the ARMA II Launcher by Spirited Machine here.

There is also a tutorial for that.

Once you've done that it should actually work.

Important things:

ARMA II and OA in the same dir.

Use the proper dir for the addon. (combined operations / @dayz / addons / ~mod files are here~)

Use the launcher, check play online and make sure dayZ is loaded.

Deleted.Chernarus means that Operation Arrowhead cannot see the ArmA2 standalone installation. Meaning that Combined Operations is not working.

You may need to run the 1.60 patch located here:

If the patch does not see the installation you may have to install Arma 2 and OA in the same folder depending on which version of the game you are using.

this is happing to me as well how do i fix it been trying for 3 days havent even played dayz yet :/
