svd camo in stary sobor tents?

Recommended Posts

So i was looting stary sobor while i was passing through to NWAF and i have found an svd camo: http://cloud.steampowered.com/ugc/541806785188605482/652199AF5D6574CE9CA5CBA1051B85954B70EE69/

i thought its not possible for it to drop anywhere else other than military barracks or it might be just super rare?

Anyways i was very lucky since ive found 10svd mags in a heli crash site a week ago so i have plenty of ammo

I don't think it's supposed to spawn there.

MIGHT be just a bug in the loot spawning system, though.

I'd say it's legit.

so far i love the weapon, once you get used to the built in range finder you can scope very fast at great distances without having range finder, although the damage is 7999 opposed to the oneshot 35k-ish as50 the svd is very quiet with only 180m sound radius which stays about the same even for players

ps: it looks totally badass, nuff said

If you've got 0 ammo and you're not willing to server-hop all night to farm the clips then dropping it is the wise choice in some cases.

The range-finder is handy but the anti-material sniper rifles are one-shot-kill on players compared to the 8k damage of the SVD (non-headshot). If you know what you're doing you can also use the mildots in the M107 or the AS50 to estimate the distance your target is at, the range finder is not an absolute necessity. The SVD needing a headshot so that your target doesn't Alt+F4 makes it less favorable, not mentioning it's extremely rare ammo.

You don't have to be a "newb" to drop the SVD. It's a bad sniper rifle unless you pair it with a ghillie suit in the middle of the woods.

And with all the ESP hacking and/or server nametags, I wouldn't do even that.

Yes we can use mil dot system - if you exercise long enough - you can learn mildot system as well, BUT - built in rangefinder on SVD is MUCH FASTER + and if you camper on a hill - camoflauge cost all the differencies.

PS: while playing on Sure Shot (deathmatch for Snipers) - its very hard to get down target on 1000m with SVD, and VERY easy get down target with 1200m with AS50.

If you dont believe - try yourself, its true.
