no heli's anymore?

i am watching a live steam now and i'f got word that heli's are taken out of the mod?

i want conformation if that's true.

Yes, if you see a heli now they are scripted in or you are on a 'private' server. They will be back soon enough though.

I would imagine this concerns pilotable helicopters.

helicopter crashes are different then pilot able heli's

Helicopters have this annoying habit of desyncing and dropping you many hundreds of meters to the ground where you promptly die. I imagine that's why they were removed.

Helicopters are not back yet although some servers host as ALT hive which allows for more control and settings to the server as in people putting in helicopters. Otherwise you are just seeing hackers spawning vehicles.

Helicopters may be pack in the next DayZ patch, but rocket will not promise us anything before he's done repairing he's bugs. Read the comments in the comming patch.
