happend to a buddie of mine last night, played for 3 hrs, switched servers to find some pvp action... lost all loot obtained in the previous 3 hours... my only guess, was he played on a shit server that didnt save any of his data...

If you played on a server not connected to the hive, all of your data will only be saved on that one server, and not carried across to different servers.

Damn that's shit... I finally got a sniper rifle to get some kills and lose it all after hours of looking for it.

UPDATE:

After rage-quitting for a day or two from this incident - I decided to play again. I was sniped down and then quit. I respawned at the same location I left off before this incident with everything I had before. It was honestly a miracle.

NOTES for Devs:

-I did not respawn once after the incident.

-I was player-killed not respawn-killed.

-I had everything I had.

-There was 35+ hours between the incident with a beta patch update.
