time/light not consistent between clients

My buddy and I did a morning run through stary. He started to bitch about the darkness. On my end, what darkness? Our watches disagreed by almost an hour. To me the sun was well risen. For him everything was still dark. We encountered another player as we left. He came within 40m of us. I could see him clear as midday, full colors, etc. When he ran past I scared him shitless on direct comms. Acorrding to him it was also still dark. He had no idea we were there. Anyone else experienced this?

Have your friend relog to see if his time syncs to yours, we've seen this several times, but not in any consistent fashion. Each time, relog fixed it.

It's an issue with desyncing. Just have both of you disconnect and reconnect, you'll be within the same time.

Yeah experienced this too.. My friends had pitch black already and it was light from my vision. We noticed that our watches were off about 35 min, too. (I know watches are not the same all the time but 35 mins?). Relog didn't fix it for us

Well, this is a big deal. When you are moving at night but the sniper on the hill sees daylight......

My buddies and I were having this issue a few days ago. For some it was dark, for some it was mid-evening. Every time we relogged onto the server, it would go back to mid-evening, about 6:30/7:00. Every time. For about 5 hours.

It was pretty weird.
