Shotgun or Lee Enfield???

What do you guys think is the best weapon? I got a double barel shotgun with quite a few slugs but an enfield with 10 shots looking tempting for me also hmmmm. Which is noiser etc?

Lee Enfield is loud but could potentially be a one shot kill on a survivor. I got a murder yesterday with one shot of the enfield and has pretty decent range. Downside is one shot and you are telling every zombie in the area that your there.

Of those two, yes the Enfield would be my choice. I would take pretty much any other shotgun over the Enfield however.

I got shot by a guy toting a double barrel shotgun yesterday. Broke my legs and brought me down to 4500 blood. I aimed my lee enfield, got the headshot on the guy who shot me, bandaged up and took some morphine. My vote is for the enfield.

I like the Enfield, good performance from the far range, good power. I usually prefer it over the 1866, even if its louder.

I don't understand the dilemma here lol. The Enfield 100% of the time. Ammo is readily available, its powerful, a single shot killer.

People say that its too noisy for them because it attracts zombies.. (hehe) if your still scared of zombies at this point, gimme your address I will send you some adult diapers.

But enfield all the way bro, you got distance, power, and ammo.

Fact is you rarely use your primary weapons anything other than vs other players. So for that reason alone the Lee imo is easy choice. It can 1 shot people and you shouldn't be using it verse zombies anyway.

Double barrel actually isn't terrible- two slugs kill a player. That said, the Lee-Enfield kills in 1 shot as long as you're in range, although it's much louder than the shotgun. Pellets for the shotgun are extremely useful vs. zombies, but usually you'll prefer your sidearm for zombies.

I would actually prefer keeping the Lee-Enfield over some of the mid-tier/low level military gear out there; the one shot kill is amazing vs. disconnecters and server hoppers in particular, and I love to mess up their day.

Makarov ....get one its easy to find and your going to thank me when you have it when your fellow survivor is standing in front of you with a slow shooting enfield ... dump a clip in that ass and call it a day.

The Enfield is one of the best weapons in the game. Easy to find, easy to use, fantastic damage.

People always talk about the loudness, but i've never encountered a situation where that has been an important issue. When is this a huge problem? Zeds? Just run. Other players? Move around.

The enfield is as loud as fucking nuke going off but I'd prefer it over the shotgun because of it's 1 hit kill capabilities. Just use a side arm for the zombies.

1 kill 500m 1 kill on short range short after that. The guy dced and then popped up right in front of my nose lol

Shotgun needed 2 shots to get a bandit kill and the fucker could still wound me and my pal had to do a transfusion.

But i think Arma clips any rifle on close range through zeds, so switch to pistol to clear off the aggroed zeds if running isn't an option.

I think 'i died 5 times by trying to point blank with rifles any zeds. Doesn't do a fucking thing.
