Despawning Corpses?

Recommended Posts

Guest

I didn't know where to post this exactly so I thought I'll post it here.

So, right to the point! I killed a guy and his body despawned after 1min? :(

Is this a bug or does this happen when the person who got killed leaves the server? I'm having this things often and I'm getting tired of this "problem".

So if anyone could give some tips on how I can kill & loot before the body disappears and/or tell me if it's a bug or something like that then I would appreciate it!

Thanks :)

The person you killed disconnected.

Sadly it's not a bug. Disconnecting will remove your playermodel from the in-game world (almost) immediately.

So if I got killed and I disconnect the person that killed can't loot me cause my corpse is then gone? :(

Are they planning on finding a solution for this?

It's being worked on. Along with the issue of players disconnecting to try and avoid death. On the positive side, if they disconnect they risk not being rolled back and having no chance of getting back to their corpse. So at least they (usually) still suffer from it.
