Met with Twonk for first time on his server of choice, we found a tent on a site that we were going to trade in. We agreed to put everything in tent and trade trough it that way. Somehow, M4 Holo despawned when he has put it in tent so I told him he can take all my stuff and just come back later with M4. Few hours afterwards he came back with M4 and 203 rounds. Perfect trade!

I'll admit we've hit a wall with being unable to fortify our own bases, and we've got no way to securely store gear

An idea to securely store gear is to have an encampment somewhere close but not too close to the trading post, and have people request what gear the want, then the salesman tells the guys at the camp to bring it down either in a vehicle or on foot. That way you can hide all your items away. The only problem would be people following the vehicle / player back to the camp.

Hi, I am looking to trade some things to get a sniper (I've never had one except for when I found one and then a second later my clan betrayed me for it. I would also like an L85A2 AWS. I currently have a bison pp-19 with around 6 mags. If that does not get me any of the weapons I want, name things that I can add to the trade to make it work.
