SoOoooOOoo... bandits :)

when i started to play this game.... bandits were annoying as fuck, i hated them... and i swore never to be one, well my little bandit adventures turned into true banditry last night.

my friend and i decided to dick around elcktro, seeing as we had fresh spawns. little did we know, we would end the night with amazing gear that would have taken us DAYZ to get if we actually attempted to loot this all legitimately. My first 4 kills of the night were exciting.

i make my way, in the dark of night, into the outskirts of elecktro...

i find an enfield in a small house in elecktro, i proceed to the firestation (and find a DMR mag, decide to take it... just because), the church, then make my way to the pub, when i notice one survivor inside... being the devious asshole i am, i called out "friendly?" to girl answered back with "ya im friendly, but dont come in, theres guys upstairs that are the shoot on sight kind of players."

Theres a change in mentality when playing this game... fresh spawn with no weapons, completely useless, you look for help, a team, you're friendly

the second you have a weapon that is somewhat useful in pvp, then you kill for supplies. so these guys obviously had something worthwhile... it being night and such, i throw flares... up the stairs and into their faces, i then run in, the guy at the top of the stairs is blinded, I take him out with one shot of the enfiled....to the face. The girl that claimed she wasnt with them, opens fire on me with a M1911.... she unloads a whole clips at me, point blank.... and misses everysingle shot, i turn around, line my sights up, headshot...

I run out of the pub, i hear one more upstaris, trying to shoot me..

He knows im going to come in the front, so why not try the back!?

he omes down the stairs not even 5 seconds after i killed the girl to loot her.... thinking i ran off, i come around the back and pop 2 shots in him... i then proceed to loot

i get myself an alice pack, food, medical supplies and a M24... pretty basic stuff, but still worth while.

But my night has just begun, my friend ran his way from cherno to elecktro, to join me in my escapades of banditry...

sitting outside of town, scoping it out, we notice a guy with what seems to be an ak...

i keep him in my sights, let him loot a couple building (so i dont have to do it myself, im a bandit after all)

then pop his head a good 400m away. I send my friend in to loot him and he find a M14 in his bag alongside a kobra... this night keeps getting better and better.

since it was getting pretty dark, we decided to switch servers, unfortunately.... it was still dark on the other server.... but this time, it wasnt complete noobs in elecktro... these guys were end game. they had everything on them, rangefinder, nvg, coyote backpacks (better than ALICE for those that dont know) and amazing guns.

We didnt know this at first, just looked like a noob running in the middle of elecktro, my friend gets a good 2 shots with the m14 in him, i run up and finish him with a my newly acquired m1911 (which had been put to way better use than the previous owner)

my first surprise was the bag, and the m4A1 CCo SD laying in his hands.... he must have had a spotter... as that thought went through my head, and we were hunched over his bodies in glee grabbing all sorts of goodies, my friend is shot.... but not on the first hit, cause this sniper was garbage

the second i hear shots, i run.... not knowing where he was, i was screwed, i find inbetween some houses... he gets me... but only knock me unconscious, i manage to get up, run away an bandage just in the nick of time.... 100 blood left o_o

everything was darker... and harder to see, i move around the houses and make my way to the bodies... to find one of his friends looting it, i pop him with the m1911... now we have two bodies, each with nvgs', coyote's, the whole fucking kit...

I thought there were only two of them... so i jumped in and started to loot... there was a third, i got shot and was out...

upon the whole greeting sceen of "YOU ARE DEAD" i noticed there were three people online... with clan tags infront of their names... it must be them.

The rest of the night is spent trying to find the sniper, while killing the new spawns trying desperately to loot their bodies back..

But we get the upper hand, i run into some total noobs, and decide to play a little social experiement.

"hey guys, theres amazing loot outside on those bodies outside of the supermarket... all you have to do is go down this street (wrong directions) to avoid the sniper spotting you, but i dont suggest going, the sniper is really good, and i dont know where he is"

now i had an extra distraction....

i end up looting some guns and a pair of nvgs

then my friend Tav logs into the TS... we ask him promptly if he's close to elecktro... to our content, he is!

we now have a sniper on our side..

couple hours later, sniper is gone, their gone and disconnect... but... the bodies are gone... the stupid bug where bodies disapear but the flies are still there....

but that didnt matter... we now have a coyote backpack, a pair of nvgs, the shitty snipper's DMR and a gps...

not too shabby for fresh spawns?

I enjoyed your story. It is hard to define us bandits, as we are all a bit different...but doesn't it feel good to kill other players sometimes? I loved that you used a few noobs as meat shields to get that loot...that was a very wise move on your part. Being somewhat of a bandit doesn't feel too bad now, does it? :bandit:
