Several questions from a noob...

I've checked the stickies and haven't found a clear answer to my questions.

1). Do people use chat/voip? I'm getting nothing.

2). why do i keep spawning by kameka/is there a way to select spawn points?

3). where are the "hot spots"? I'm assuming it's chernogorsk and elektromania

4). what does the broken lock mean?

1.) Rarely. Only trolls and idiots use voip in game. You would be better off attaching a chemlight to yourself in the night. People only use this to listen for nearby players to kill.

2.) Respawns are random between the designated spawn points. If you want a better spawn kill yourself and try again. Unless there was a ninja update in the last patch making it so if you respawn kill yourself over and over it will keep spawning you in the same place for x amount of time.

3.) Cherno, Electro, Stary Sobor, NW Airfield (mainly firehouse, NE and SW barracks, and ATC), Berezino (however its safer than most towns).

Chat is usually disabled, only direct chat is available which means you will only see that when they are right with you, same goes with voip.

Kamenka is a frequent spawn point, if you respawn a few times you will end up at other places though, can't select spawn however.

1. yes ppl use voice chat but its not global

2. there is no option to select spawn points afaik

3. Cherno, Elektro, NW Airfield

4. the red broken chain (if you mean this) means you got a high ping

1. People use chat if its enabled on servers ( mostly its disabled ). Some people use VOIP to ask if you are friendly and stuff ( Tip. Kill or get killed )

2. Spawns are randomly chosen, and you always spawn to the coast.

3. Hot spots are big cities, military zones ( Airfields )

4. No idea about a broken lock :o

1) kill armed ppl on sight. They are rarely friendly. Go away from unarmed, if they find a weapon, they will kill ya.

2) Try more, you are just unlucky. Spawning is random, ya have no choice.

3) Cherno, Elektro, both Stary and Novy sobor, all airfields. Also Zelenogorsk and Berezino, but they are less of a threat then Cherno/Elektro.

4) Broken chain is bad connection. A lock? Dunno.
