Some questions about vehicles

So I've been trying for days to find a vehicle to fix up and I've had no luck.

The only way I could become better geared in 1.5.7 is to get NVG, but that's rare. So I wanted a car (Not bragging, just been alive long enough). I feel like I'm stagnating a bit in terms of things to do, I'm stuck between gearing up and getting wheels.

Now for some questions;

Will broken vehicles respawn over time if the number of broken vehicles drops too low?

How often does a full reset of broken and/or working vehicles happen?

I get the impression that once a server has been up for say a week or two then all the vehicles have been claimed and are then hidden away when not in use. Leaving players like me in the situation of searching town after town and finding nothing.

So yea whats up with this, am I too late to the party and do I have to start searching the wilderness on foot for player camps?

Also as a side note I would like to see broken vehicles become more common while the parts needed to fix them become rarer, this would be more authentic imo.

all i know is that once repaired if a vehicles blows up it wont respawn. and i think it requires a server restart for the vehicles to respawn.

From what I've read, the servers have to be restarted every six hours or so.

I haven't seen many vehicles, either. I'm always amazed at all of this vehicle talk, but for me, I prefer for them to be rare.

I saw one flying helicopter once, and a repairable bus last night. One time, I saw a tire.

I can only assume that the intention is to make vehicles more of a group effort....

Yes, mostly vehicles are claimed by now. And there are just like 10-15 cars on each server and not every originally spawned in cities. Here is a hint: There is red civilian car in middle of Kozlovka (west from 2-story red enterable building, right near flipped over static wreck on the road), it might be not taken by this moment on some servers. But does this 6 hour reset cycle spawn new broken vehicles while still keeping the repaired and player saved vehicles? I'd assume it does not as over time this would create an ever increasing amount of vehicles on each server. This is the kind of info I'm after.
