Getting teleported after killing a player.

Today when I was searching around some military buildings, a player spawned right next to me. I got the shit scared out of me, so by pure reflex, I shot and killed him. But then right after that I was teleported in to the middle of the ocean, the bottom left of the map, not on the beach, but all the way out at sea. Can anyone explain what happened to me?

nope, no Admins were on, and it was instant. I thought i was getting my skin changed.

Yeah, this happened to me too. It seems to be a bug when you change from bandit -> survivor or vice-versa. I got up to the humanity level where I changed back to a survivor and it teleported me with all my gear to the middle of the ocean.

Really annoying. :(

I was going to say that it may be a bug when you transit, this is why I don't normally shoot survivors anymore.

I.. actually thought it was because of hackers. I've been a bandit for some time and on occasion, killing a player results being teleported.

Killing a player shouldn't result unless it turns you into a bandit/survivor (Which should be removed in the next patch)

Do you think we'll get more spawns inland so that bandits won't camp the spawn on shore all the time?
