yankee_1776@live.com 20 Posted July 17, 2012 90% of these so called "bandits" are just killers out to ruin someone else's day and don't care about it.
acebane 268 Posted July 17, 2012 I know it's an added risk on your part as bandits to "give survivors" a chance but as you successfully shoot everyone you see on sight for awhile, it starts getting boring. So I encourage you bandits to challenge yourself with robbing them and letting them live. I just made a new video/thread in regards to the Surrender key to increase awareness of it - that way us Bandits can maybe have more success in robbing people. Keep in mind, any animation whether it be salute/sit down/surrender can all be used as a "surrender" key.
Spartan114 21 Posted July 17, 2012 When you call yourself a bandit, and all you do is kill other players... you're not a real bandit.A real bandit robs other players, and leaves them stranded with nothing. A real bandit takes hostages and trades them for gear/vehicles. A real bandit OWNS his victims, not just figuratively, but literally. So to all you REAL bandits out there, I salute you.Came across two people looting the NE airfield today. Me and my buddy Tim watched them loot for about 5 minutes, and as they left we popped out and told them to face the wall and drop their weapons. One complied, one tried dodge around the wall and pull up his Remington. He got a round to the leg, and I looted the contents of his Coyote pack while he was unconscious. Tim took the other guys Bizon. Told 'em to run south west and go find some new equipment. They did.Good times.
DexAnimus 3 Posted July 17, 2012 I shot a guy in the knee and went through his pack, does that count?

Just wanna say, your youtube videos are what inspired me and my buddies to become a true bandit group, and to deviate from our previous 'shoot on sight' mentality. It's alot more fun than what we were doing originally. And, the AKM is finally useful to me (as a stick up weapon).

I'm glad you and your group are like minded individual when it comes to banditry :). The communication and human interaction when robbing someone is exciting and brings back the heart racing feeling that I've lost so long ago after many kills/deaths.I love the AKM as a robbing weapon. It's cheap, not THAT good that you'll feel bad losing/trading it but it has zeroing so you can practically snipe with it if you range it right. Recoil is high and sights do suck sometimes, but other then that, greatest stick up weapon :D.
G0V3RNM3NT4L 132 Posted July 17, 2012 My main advantage is hiding. If somebody is being threatened, and they don't know from where, they are more likely to cave. They set their weapons down, and I shoot them until they are unconscious. Steal their stuff, bandage them up, leave some morphine (and a single clip for their secondary) leave painkillers and disinfectant. It's like farming.Steal all their good stuff so they constantly have to search for better weapons and more food. They never have time to make runs to the NWAF or NEAF, must instead focus on survival. Keep them playing in this state until you're ready to let them advance.

Shiftyeyesshady 15 Posted July 17, 2012 I get a lot of joy out of long distance shooting. Zombies are not interesting to shoot. A Survivor bleeding out and trying to make it across that field before I line up my next shot is.
daizy 2 Posted July 17, 2012 Because of you, bandits, I will now become a bandit, too. Let's better not meet =)
