BattlEye Failed To Initialize

Are there any other server operators that have updated BattlEye and DayZ to the latest beta patch and can connect to their servers?

I updated today since BattlEye finally released updated DLLs for client and server for the 94945 beta, but now I cannot connect to my server. I get a "BattlEye Failed To Initialize" error and it kicks me back out to the server browser.

The DLL files have been updated on both my client computer and on the server side.

Yes. I've updated both my server and client. I'm surprised BattlEye wasnt automatically updated in the patch, It's causing non-updated clients to have issues connecting. As well as their GUID's to not be verified correctly.

Did you replace Battleye in Expansion\Battleye and just \Battleye?

I must have missed updating the Expansion\Battleye directory this time. Replaced the dlls there and now everything is good.

Are you also having issues with clients getting GUID errors? Or are you connecting without issues? Everytime a client connects it displays the "Illegal Copies May Degrade"? or is this just me for some reason X_X

I am now able to connect to my server, but it seems that no one else is able to connect to it now. What I am being told is that the players get a "You Were Kicked Off The Game" message when trying to connect. I can see from my server console that a lot of players are trying to connect, but it just says, "Player xxxxxx connecting" and then right after, "Player xxxxx disconnected". No error message or reasons.

UPDATE: Now what I have discovered is only ONE player can connect to the server at a time. If I sign off, another player can sign in and play, but no more. If I try to connect when another player is on the server, I get the kicked out of game message. I have tested that with a couple other players.

I suggest you stop letting other people do all the legwork for you and start looking in the fairly obvious places yourself....

im lost boys im getting into the loading screen where the tanks and shiz are, the i get a message saying battle eye initilization failed. can somebody give me a step by step guide to fixing this issue please. it has only just started since the latest patch as at (18-jul-2012). cheers

I, too, am having this issue as of July 18th. Can't join any server (regardless of the server's beta version) because Battleye fails to initialize.

The patch that came out today still has issues hence all peoples problems, my suggestion would be to just wait it out until it is fixed, which would be soon, i doubt Rocket wants people to get annoyed and then stop playing his mod

You should be able to join the SE servers , if it works there you are properly patched.

I have the latest beta and everything and it just still throws the error, even updated battleye in the arma folder and the expansion folder.

Anyone got any other ideas? I'm using six updater.

Edit: Don't use six updater for the latest version seemed to fix mine, download using the given links :)

Pretty much all the updates break one thing or another. It's only the aplha/beta though.
