"Wait for host" - gets stuck after this last night.

Now when I want to play DayZ I get stuck at "Wait for host" on all servers, no matter which server or when I try.

Didn't happen what? 6-7hours ago.

Last then I did that could've affected anything was installing the latest arma 2 beta patch, but I did play before it.

Don't use the patch 94945, use the 94876.

Yup. What he said. Patch 94945 messes up your ability to connect to DayZ servers.

Delete the "Beta" Folder, put back the original ArmA2OA.exe and download the correct patch version.

I suggest running Six Launcher, it will automatically update your beta patch to the stable version.

Downloaded and im using the six updater, now my character is "refreshsed" and I spawned in cherno.. so?

did i just lose my 3 days character? fucksake, I had a fucking m136 and 3 shots, m107 etc.. damn what the fuck happend?

Make sure the server you are on is a hive server.

Also, Rocket said that some characters were moved to the new ID system and will be restored once your current one did.

step back your beta version, had the same problem with beta 94945 so tried a different patch 94876 today and im back in buisness.

theres also a thread here http://dayzmod.com/forum/index.php?/topic/33410-beta-94945-working-follow-instruction/ which may get 9495 working for you
