Gwizzlle 1 Posted July 15, 2012 they are given the items by force... they arent asking for it. As you can see if you were watching Thor was dropping the stuff but the hackers just gave it back
franco 1 Posted July 15, 2012 They need to hide all the hud infomation and black the stream when they select a server. Hide name plates, all the top right information, anything that could be used in a hacker's search for them.
TheKnightFire 0 Posted July 15, 2012 Some friends and I logged on to US 711 to stalk this guy and girl streaming, and kill them. One of our troupe was killed instantly from a hacker. There are also a whole lot of dogs, free items being given to these two, and other hacked events. This is the twitch channel, you can see the hacking in progress. It's 11pm GMT-6 (saskatchewan) http://www.twitch.tv/thoranar.Please bring the bans!-TrSqd- Stephen was killed instantly without gunshots or blood by a hacker. -TrSqd- Anthony killed the guy streamer in cherno.Someone in their livestream was hacking giving them stuff it's not their fault this is their first time playing the game and shouldn't be banned. This person is crying is just a try-hard that needs to get a life. This MOD is in Alpha and if you can't deal with things like this you should wait until the MOD is complete before playing any more. Gwizzlle 1 Posted July 15, 2012 It's ultimately the creators fault because they cant make the mod good enough so people cant hack it. =/

Evroz 3 Posted July 15, 2012 It's ultimately the creators fault because they cant make the mod good enough so people cant hack it. =/It isnt the mod's fault. Arma 2 was coded to let every player to inject scripts into the game to do everything hackers do.Arma 3 and the standalone DayZ game will most likely have better protection against this kind of stuff. They've been told this several times in chat. They are not ignorant. They have just recently started dropping the spawned objects. It's not like they don't know whats going on. Everyone defending them is getting their big ass WoW panties in a knot because their beloved streamers don't feel like giving the game five damn minutes and switching servers, etc. If I was playing a new game in which I spawn with nothing and I just randomly start morphing and gaining gear, I would be well aware I was being affected by hacks.(Not to mention the crowds of people saying "HAX0RZ) Grow up.By the way, I love how they make fun of the game and people playing "hardcore", but they play WoW..... Yea. And now it's even WoW EZ Mode. Lol. Edited July 15, 2012 by candysoldhere
Vaqxination 1 Posted July 15, 2012 I'm a moderator from their stream, so I think I can speak for them. They are not endorsing nor using hacks them selves, they're just providing a good stream and promotion for this mod and the ARMA II game. They've only been playing for about 2-3 hours now, and they've died several times. A "hacker" or "server admin", whatever, has entered the game and given them stuff (that to their knowledge) is perfectly normal. This will probably be their only time playing this game, at least for awhile, but their only interest for now is to provide a good show, have fun, and kill some zombies. Ban the hacker sure, but they have done nothing wrong and don't deserve to be banned from a game they've just started playing.I honestly don't give a flying fuck, they're accepting hacked items. Yea. And now it's even WoW EZ Mode. Lol.As a response to these, I really don't see why it's a big ass deal, why is everyone freaking out and becoming so butt hurt about something that doesn't even involve them. Games are made for having fun, streams are made to be entertaining, they're streaming and having fun by playing a mod you guys have helped shaped, I don't understand why it's such a big deal. Sure hacking is a bad thing in any game, but from you guys it's sounds just as bad as rape and murder. It's just a game and they're just having fun, they haven't joined a server to cause shit, they're not instating or starting shit. They're having fun and doing what they like, what exactly is the problem?
candysoldhere 2 Posted July 15, 2012 (edited) I honestly don't give a flying fuck, they're accepting hacked items. They aren't anymore I believe. But the fact that in the beginning they were REQUESTING the items is what started this. Not to mention their sheer ignorance. "LETS NOT LISTEN TO ALL THE PEOPLE IN CHAT. MAKE FUN OF GAME HERPA DERP BUT WE PLAY WOW ALL DAY HERP."Sure hacking is a bad thing in any game, but from you guys it's sounds just as bad as rape and murder. It's just a game and they're just having fun, they haven't joined a server to cause shit, they're not instating or starting shit. They're having fun and doing what they like, what exactly is the problem? Here is what you are saying. "Murder is bad, but killing people is fun so it is ok."Just like, "Hacking is bad (as well as knowingly accepting hacked items, etc), but it's ok now because I'm having fun"The fact that I compared it to murder in no way needs to be seen as extreme. That is just an easy example, you can apply it to anything. I don't have anymore time to try and teach you. Time for me to sleep. clone1018 1 Posted July 15, 2012 Lol @ all the fanboys coming to protect their guild leaderAnd you're coming to protect your game, what exactly is the difference? You need both sides of the story to make a proper judgment do you not?
AADiC 182 Posted July 15, 2012 Dude they dont care if they get banned, they said that in the LiveStream.. its their first time playing the game and they joined a Server and in which a Hacker was in their and they got Free Shit. sdhfguih2i3df 55 Posted July 15, 2012 They've never even played the game before and they're being followed around by a hacker. The streamers have hardly any clue what the hell is going on, or what they're doing. Also, LOL at a stream-sniper reporting a hacker. Get a life. Not reporting the streamer you tool, reporting the hackers who have flocked to the stream. I would hope the streamers don't get banned as they CLEARLY don't know any better. It's obvious they are just having fun and promoting the game. I'd prefer they didn't accept the hacked items (it sends a bad message) but they're still positive publicity. Get smoked, troll. zipper 69 Posted July 16, 2012 It's ultimately the creators fault because they cant make the mod good enough so people cant hack it. =/This is about the dumbest thing I've read in a while. You understand that modding is basically hacking the core game? Feel free to tell us how they can end hacking. I'm sure Rocket, along with every other game developer in the world, would like to know.
