Heya folks!

So after much silliness, a brand new EU server has appeared, and due to popular demand, I'll be doing my best to keep it PermaDay, meaning I'll be periodically adjusting the server time to keep it daylight, at least at this time of the month where darkness is nigh impossible.

Please leave any comments/discusison/bug reports here, and I'll get back to you as soon as possible!

Is this a 50 slot server?

Anyways, I'll be sure to pass this on to our group, we've been looking for a server close to our location, who knows, it might even end up as our new "home". ;)

It is indeed 50 slot, and I might be upping that in a day or two, going to see how we do at peak times. The server itself lives in Germany, so it should get decent ping to all of Europe *fingers crossed*.

You would be perfectly welcome, as long as you aren't bandits ;-).

Been having a few problems with server crashes, everything seems to be ok now, so hopefully we'll be stable for a bit longer!

Do not do this. The server needs time so that it can calculate when to respawn things. That is why it is tied to the server time. Please set the time and then leave it alone.

Any server caught doing this will receive an immediate IP Ban.

Right-o , I'll just leave it on reverse time, then. There'll be one last time change, to get it in a decent place, then it'll be left alone, I guess.

Just to clarify, no exploits were involved, I was simply changing the server's local time, only while the DayZ server was down, it was never changed while connected to the database or running the mission, nor have I edited any part of the mod, or run any scripts to interfere with the way the server runs.

I understand that you might be upset at a lot of people with they way they have managed this issue, but I assure you, I'm one of the good guys :)

However, I'm more than happy to leave it on reverse time, saves me a lot of effort. We're now running at UTC-6!

Hi, About a week ago I was playing on all EU servers, which is great coz ping is low and players are kwl. This week, before the updates, most EU servers except EU5 and EU16 have gone red spot to me, even with everything I need to install installed (except perhaps CBA_main). Any clue as to what I need to do to fix the issue?

Like the sounds of this server as im new and can only play at nights after work. Lets just say I have not faired to well in the dark LOL
